8f0961e770 Change default value for --keep-stacktraces has been changed to alloc-and-free
Default value changed following discussion on valdev.

Giving more information for errors with freed blocks can help
when investigating difficult problems (e.g. double free, programs
using 'cleanup list' collecting different types of memory, ...)

Regression tested on various setup (x86, ppc64, s390x, amd64, debian or fedora)

Tests that have only one exp files have been updated to use the output
of the new default value in their .exp file.

Tests having more than one exp file have been changed so as to
specify explicitely the previous clo default value (i.e. adding
 --keep-stacktraces=alloc-then-free in the vgtest file).

Possibly, some tests might fail on non tested platforms
(e.g. mips, macos, solaris, tilegx).
Fixes should be straightforward, using one of the above fix techniques.

c31c62f916 Fix memcheck/tests/err_disable4 test on OS X
bz#344621
- Unnamed semaphores are not supported on OS X, must use named semaphores.
- To use named semaphores sem_open() instead of sem_init() utilised.
- Test case updated accordingly across all platforms.

Before:

== 586 tests, 240 stderr failures, 22 stdout failures, 0 stderrB failures, 0 stdoutB failures, 31 post failures ==

After:

== 586 tests, 239 stderr failures, 22 stdout failures, 0 stderrB failures, 0 stdoutB failures, 31 post failures ==

65f6c85aa8 Fix multiple problems with this test:
* when creating threads, just ask for a 256k stack size, since creating
  498 threads each with the default 8M stack size fails on 32 bit machines.

* limit number of callers to 3 so as to remove junk frames that cause
  different output on 32 vs 64 bit targets.

* add a proper self-check at the end, to verify the number of detected errors
  is as expected

* update output accordingly

42ada29286 Add a new client request and pair of macros,
VALGRIND_{DISABLE,ENABLE}_ERROR_REPORTING, which allow a thread to
temporarily disable reporting of errors it makes. This is useful for
making Memcheck behave sanely in the presence of some MPI
implementations. Also mark up libmpiwrap.c accordingly.
